Perlman Clinic is very pleased to announce that Brandon Van Noord, M.D. will be joining our practice on June 1, 2016. It is Perlman Clinic’s goal to provide comprehensive, quality and accessible care to our patients. With the addition of Dr. Van Noord our practice now includes: Internal, Preventive and Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Integrative Medicine and Pain Management.
Dr. Van Noord is a compassionate Board Certified Anesthesiologist specializing in Interventional Pain Management. He is dedicated to helping his patients achieve functional restoration and to effectively manage their pain. Interventional Pain Management is a complex field and Dr. Van Noord’s extensive training and dedication gives him the resources to asses and administer the appropriate treatment to aid patients with chronic and/or injury induced pain.
Dr. Van Noord was born and raised in the Midwest (Lansing, MI). He attended medical school at the University of Southern California and completed his medical Internship at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Van Noord completed his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Southern California in 2013 and his Pain Medicine Fellowship in 2014 at the University of California, Los Angeles. Throughout his medical training and career, Dr. Van Noord has engaged in clinical research, published peer-reviewed journals, presented numerous research articles at national and international meetings and authored several textbook chapters.
Dr. Van Noord has proudly served his country with distinction on several deployments and while stationed overseas in the US Navy as a General Medical Officer and Flight Surgeon.
Dr. Van Noord shares his passion for medicine with his wife Michelle, who is also a physician. In his spare time he enjoys surfing, yoga and exploring San Diego with his wife.
