“FNP, Friend, Advocate”
Originally from Rhode Island, Alex Crotteau graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Minor in Chemistry while playing college baseball. He then moved to San Diego, California, and prior to pursuing his medical career, he began working as a synthetic chemist for a local biotech startup designing and synthesizing bioresorbable polymers for next generation coronary stents. Feeling the need to have a more direct positive impact on the lives of others, he obtained his BSN and began his medical career in the Emergency Department. Alex then graduated Cum Laude from United States University with his Masters of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Practice and is currently board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
As a former college athlete, Alex enjoys living an active lifestyle. He can often be found playing golf, baseball or out exploring southern California with his wife and two dogs.
