“PA, Friend, Advocate”
Alex Chatfield, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Point Loma Nazarene University right here in San Diego. As an undergraduate, Alex stayed busy not only earning her degree but playing collegiate softball and basketball. After graduating, she would continue her academic and athletic career overseas at Durham University in England. Here, she would become a member of the women’s basketball team while earning a Master in Science in the field of medical anthropology. Alex would complete her medical education at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. After some long cold winters in the U.K. and on the east coast, Alex is happy to be back in the sun to begin her career in healthcare. In addition to the Perlman Clinic, Alex works at an urgent care where she continues to grow her knowledge in the treatment of acute injuries and illness. When she isn’t in the clinic you can find her watching Dodger baseball, cooking something new in the kitchen, or traveling to new places with friends and family.
