Amy Trautman PA-C

“PA, Friend, Advocate”

For as long Amy Trautman, PA-C, can remember, she has wanted to work in the medical field. At the age of 15, she began working as an EMT in her hometown to gain basic but essential medical knowledge. Once she was in university, she found a passion for medical nutrition and majored in Clinical Dietetics.

Upon graduating, Amy moved to Washington, DC for a fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center and also started working in a suburban hospital as a dietitian. Two years later, she joined the 2011 graduating Physician Assistant class of George Washington University.

Now having spent over 9 years as a practicing PA, Amy enjoys practicing patient-first care. She is experienced in skin/wound care, orthopedic issues such as fractures, and common medical ailments, but she also enjoys learning in order to better herself for the sake of her patients.
