“PA, Friend, Advocate”
Bryna (pronounced “Brenna”) has been working as a certified Physician Assistant for the past twelve years since graduating from Samuel Merritt University in 2008. She started her career in a unique position in neurology, where she gained an interest in concussion and headache syndromes. Bryna currently works in emergency medicine, where she particularly enjoys laceration repair and procedures such as incision and drainage for abscesses. In 2018, she began working as a first assistant in Orthopedic surgery, which enhanced her knowledge of anatomy and strengthened her suturing skills.
In Bryna’s spare time, she likes making wall art out of popsicle sticks or other unconventional materials. She also enjoys nature walks, weight lifting and roller derby. Another one of her favorite things to do is to sip coffee while listening to birds sing.
