Corey Merrill graduated from Ohio State University where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences before attending the Physician Assistant Studies Master program at Ohio Dominican University. He truly loves to help people and relate to patients, and feels that as a physician assistant he can have a meaningful impact on his patients. He is a strong advocate on promoting health and wellness on a personal level as well as with helping empower patients to take control of their well being.
Corey enjoys treating patients who have had acute and chronic injuries that struggle with pain or limited function. He believes in treating a whole person – body, mind, spirit, and emotions – in the quest for optimal health and wellness.
In his free time he enjoys mountain biking, trail running, hiking, and snowboarding. He has completed 4 triathlons as well as the Chicago Marathon. Corey is a strong proponent of mindfulness and meditation and strongly believes that holistic medicine has a positive impact on patient outcomes.
