“FNP, Friend, Advocate”

Ilana Renfroe, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Ilana received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After beginning her professional career as a financial analyst in New York, Ilana was compelled to make a more positive impact and quickly realized her calling was to work in healthcare. She was drawn to primary care by her desire to build relationships with patients and by her passion for preventative medicine and patient advocacy. Ilana returned to Vanderbilt University where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing. Ilana believes in a team-based approach to the patient-provider relationship and enjoys working alongside patients to help them live their healthiest lives.  

Originally from New York, Ilana is thrilled to be in San Diego and spends much of her free time exploring and adventuring outdoors with her husband and their dog Moose.
