Jo Jo Lee, LPCC

Jo Jo is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She earned her two Master degrees, one in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of San Diego, and another one in Clinical and Abnormal Psychology from Swansea University (U.K.). She also received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from University of California, San Diego.

Jo Jo has experience in providing evidence-based interventions such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to a diverse adult population. She is currently working on being certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to treat individuals who struggle with history of trauma. Her specialties include working with immigrants, Asian Americans, international students, chronic mental illnesses (i.e., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders), eating disorders, PTSD, and psychiatric crisis (suicidal ideation, self-harm behaviors, panic attacks). She also provides therapy in Mandarin and Cantonese.

In her free time, she enjoys watching her dog running around, trying out all the food vendors at the local farmers markets, and being a blanket burrito at home.
