“FNP, Friend, Advocate”

Joanne is originally from North Carolina.  She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at UNC-Wilmington, graduating with honors and most of her nursing experience was critical care. She served in the US Navy for 7 years as a Navy Nurse and completed her Masters of Science from Seattle Pacific University in Family Nurse Practitioner, graduating with honors. Joanne is a member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. She values an authentic clinician-patient partnership, values each patient as a holistic individual, and practices in a manner of stewardship. She is a world traveler, enjoys scuba diving, and riding a Harley Davidson with her spouse.
