Julia Johnson, LCSW

Julia Johnson, LCSW believes in the dignity and worth of all people. She has 17 years of experience working in health care and providing therapy, and has witnessed first-hand people becoming anxious, depressed and overwhelmed when their lives transform due to illness or changes out of their control.  Julia has empathy and compassion to listen to others and help with the many changes and adjustments they face.

Julia approaches therapy from the holistic view point that our mental, physical and spiritual health are all interconnected. Her specialty areas include: grief and loss, caregiver burnout, self-esteem, personal growth, and stress management. Julia has been with people in their most difficult times of distress and sorrow and she has provided a space of compassion where feelings and thoughts can be discussed openly, without judgement, and coping skills and strengths fostered to empower individuals. 

Julia uses the following modalities: CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Strength’s perspective, Holistic and Family systems.
