Kayla is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant originally from Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. Kayla received her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Drexel University along with a Post-Baccalaureate from The University of Pennsylvania, both in Philadelphia. She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY. Kayla is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), California Academy of Physician Associates (CAPA), and San Diego Society of Physician Assistants (SDSPA). Her areas of special interest include cardiology, electrophysiology, and preventive medicine.
While in PA school, Kayla participated in 2 medical mission trips for rural and underserved populations outside of San Pedro de Macorís in the Dominican Republic. This experience drove Kayla’s passion in providing healthcare to medically underserved areas.
When Kayla isn’t busy working as a provider she enjoys spending time with family/friends, the beach, run club, skiing, traveling, trying new restaurants, a good cup of coffee, and exploring all that San Diego has to offer.
