“FNP, Friend, Advocate”
Kim Brinckerhoff is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner born and raised in California. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, she worked as a scribe with John Muir Health’s internal medicine department and served as a state-certified Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Counselor in the East Bay. She completed her RN and MSN at Samuel Merritt University, working closely with Bay Area hospitals and public health departments. Kim practiced family medicine with patients of all ages and backgrounds in downtown Los Angeles before moving to urgent care. She feels strongly about the role of patient education in practicing medicine so that patients can be active participants and decision makers in all their health concerns. In her off-time, Kim is an enthusiastic Bernese Mountain Dog mom, avid skier, and enjoys cooking for loved ones.
