“Doctor, Friend, Advocate”
Melissa Macy graduated from the Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011.
Dr Macy honors the role of the physician as a teacher by getting to know her patients and collaborating to find a treatment plan that both works and fits into your unique lifestyle. She loves to guide, educate and offer practical solutions to help meet your health goals.
As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, she focuses on you, the whole patient, not just your illness. In her approach you can see she values the mind, body and spirit.
Dr Macy studied philosophy and journalism before medicine and still enjoys listening to NPR radio, taking long walks with her dog Diego and practicing meditation in her free time.
