Sara is a board-certified Physician Assistant who recently moved from Virginia to San Diego. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences in 2016 from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She earned her Master’s from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA in 2020.
Prior to joining the Perlman Clinic, Sara worked in cardiology before beginning her work on the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial in support of Operation Warp Speed. While in Virginia, Sara volunteered her time at two free clinics serving uninsured and under-insured members of her community.
Sara’s passion is in clinical care. She enjoys spending time with her patients ensuring their healthcare concerns are fully addressed and empowering them to take control of their health. By practicing patient-centered care, Sara works with her patients to find the treatment plan that best meets their needs and matches their lifestyle. As a military spouse, Sara also enjoys working with military members, retirees, and their families.
Outside of work, Sara spends her time enjoying the plethora of activities that the San Diego area has to offer.
