“LMFT, Friend, Advocate”

Tara Schlosser is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and Neuroscience from University of California, San Diego. She completed her Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from University of San Francisco.

Tara’s diverse experience includes working with children, adolescents, families and adults in a school environment and in an outpatient setting. She also has experience with utilization management and assessing medical necessity for higher levels of care for Blue Shield of California.

Tara’s treatment approach is to create a therapeutic relationship with clients and to provide a safe environment in order to assist them with overcoming their challenges.

When not working, Tara enjoys spending time with family and her dog, traveling, watching movies and going to amusement parks.
