Jennifer Abreu is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of California, Irvine, and continued her education at San Diego State University, earning her Master of Social Work. Jennifer has worked with families and individuals of many ages – including children and adolescents. She draws her care techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Commitment Therapy.

Jennifer has worked in a variety of different care settings including hospice, skilled nursing, acute hospital, and home health care. In addition, she has experience working with children and adolescents in group homes, adoption, and foster care. Outside of working, Jennifer enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves traveling to destinations – especially if she is able to snorkel and hike!
