Katherine is a PA-C who completed her physician assistant training at Barry University in Miami, Florida, and graduated with a Master of Clinical Medical Science degree. Prior to the program, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from University of California, San Diego. She loves working in urgent care for the hands-on experience and family medicine for the ability to establish personal, individual relationships with her patients. She believes in providing quality patient care by taking the time to listen to the patient and including the patient in the discussion and treatment plan.

Katherine was born and raised in the Bay Area but fell in love with San Diego and has lived here for almost 10 years. She enjoys spending her free time running, catching up on her TV shows, or creating something in the kitchen, whether she is cooking up a new dish or baking up something sweet. Besides her daily hobbies, her two biggest obsessions include Disney and cats—as she has two cats of her own.
