“Doctor, Friend, Advocate”

Dr. Bhalrhu grew up in Northridge, California.  She went to medical school in Poland where she attended the Medical University of Lublin.  While she was in medical school, she was fortunate to take a few days here and there traveling as much of Europe as she possibly could.  After graduating medical school, she did her residency in Family Medicine at Central Michigan University.  After completion of residency, she worked as a hospitalist in a teaching hospital in Michigan, Covenant Healthcare.  As attending physician, her responsibilities included teaching medical students and residents.  Returning to California had always been in her plan, specifically living in San Diego.  She enjoys working with primary care and urgent care patients in the Hillcrest and downtown clinics.  In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, watching football, cooking and wine tasting.
