Dr. Herr has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years. He graduated from University of Colorado School of Medicine and is board certified in Preventive Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He has a Master’s degree in Sports Physiology and completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine. He was a primary care physician for Kaiser Permanente in Denver, CO before moving to the San Diego area.

He enjoys caring for teens as well as adults. He enjoys helping patients reach their healthcare goals and encourages the patient to be active partners in their healthcare decisions. He believes that health is more than just the absence of disease and that achieving optimal health requires a focus on a healthy lifestyle.

In his free time, he enjoys time with his family, playing tennis and golf, reading, and listening to music.
