“Doctor, Friend, Advocate”

Rebecca Henry is a San Diego native and board-certified Family Medicine physician who recently joined Perlman Clinic in 2023.

She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology.  Afterwards, she spent three years performing research in Endocrinology at the University of California, San Diego and the Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute before moving to Little Rock to complete her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She then moved to Houston to complete her residency at University of Texas – TMC before returning to her hometown of San Diego.

Dr. Henry has particular interests in women’s health, nutrition, and preventive medicine, but enjoys all aspects of general medicine. She embraces the practice mission of spending time listening and understanding each patient’s concerns with the goal of achieving and advocating for their best health.

In her spare time, Dr. Henry enjoys soaking up the sunshine with her husband, son and pup, pilates, cooking, baking and exploring San Diego’s beautiful beaches, parks, and restaurants.
