Chaehyeon Lim Damko, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Master’s degree of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University, Delaware and a post-graduate Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from California State University, Long Beach.
She began her nursing career working primarily in the cardiovascular unit, but she also has a variety of experiences in primary care, women’s and children’s care in diverse communities. She found her passion in family practice and preventative medicine. She believes that primary care is the core of the health care system and her main focus of practice is promoting and improving her patient’s quality of life.
Chaehyeon was born and raised in South Korea and immigrated to the US in 2004. She is fluent in Korean and English. She understands that culturally competent care is important to reduce racial, economic, ethnic, and social disparities when meeting a community’s healthcare needs.
In her free time, she enjoys walking in the park, watching Korean dramas, traveling, and spending time with her family.
