Kelly McGuire PA-C

“PA-C, Friend, Advocate”

Born and raised on the Central Coast of California, Kelly has had a passion for medicine since she was 13 years old. She earned her degree in Cell & Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara and worked as an EMT in Santa Barbara County while attending school and for over three years afterward. Kelly later worked as an Emergency Department Technician at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, where she had first volunteered during her undergraduate studies. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was also part of a deployment team that provided critical support to areas in need of additional healthcare personnel.

These experiences led her to pursue a Physician Assistant degree at Touro University Nevada. As part of her clinical training, Kelly had the opportunity to participate in an international rotation in Cambodia, where she worked at a hospital in Battambang. During her time there, she scrubbed into gynecological, general, and orthopedic surgeries, gaining hands-on experience in a resource-limited environment.

Now living in San Diego—a place she grew up visiting with her family—Kelly is excited to continue her career as a board-certified Physician Assistant. In her free time, she enjoys running, making homemade pasta, and hosting dinner parties. She also loves to bake and share new recipes in the kitchen, which she is happy to share with friends, family, and patients.
