Alyse Freitas is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families in their healing and growth. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento.
Alyse has extensive clinical experience working in both outpatient and residential treatment settings where she specialized in complex mental health conditions using a combination of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and family systems modalities. She has experience working with various backgrounds, such as youth and adults, trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC and neurodivergent individuals.
Alyse is dedicated to creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and collaborative therapeutic environment. She focuses on empowering her clients by strengthening the mind-body connection, promoting self-awareness, and fostering resilience.
In her role at Perlman Clinic, Alyse offers individualized, integrative mental health care, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relational challenges.
