“PA-C, Friend, Advocate”

Jessica Kovall is a Physician Assistant with 10 years of clinical experience. She is currently a full-time PA for UCSD General  Gastroenterology.   Before working for UCSD, she was working as a general GI PA in private practice, treating common gastrointestinal disorders and running clinical trials for new GI treatments. Jessica also lived in Honolulu Hawaii, where she first entered the gastrointestinal field.  She has  worked in urgent care/primary care centers in Maryland and Upstate New York.  Jessica is originally from Binghamton NY and completed her Physician Assistant training at Arcadia University, outside of Philadelphia PA.  

She is currently living with her best friend and furbaby, Colt, who loves naps, parks and treats and is scared of walks at night. Jessica loves reading, music, time at the beach and cheering for San Diego’s women’s soccer team, The Wave.
