Wendy Dengerink, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. Prior to joining Perlman Clinic, Dr. Dengerink worked at San Diego Sports Medicine and Family Health Center Urgent Care clinic. Her work experience includes Sharp Rees-Stealy Urgent Care and Sycuan Medical Clinic. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Dengerink earned her medical degree at George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington DC. She completed her undergraduate degree in Microbiology and East Asian Studies at University of Arizona in Tucson.

Dr. Dengerink enjoys learning about interior design, planning parties, hanging out with her husband and three kids, and tending to her chickens. She loves CrossFit, WWE wrestling, Dolly Parton, dessert, and 1980’s comedies. Someday she hopes to participate in international missions, adding to her trip to Haiti. She is proud to be a board member of Global Care Alliance, an international humanitarian organization with projects around the globe. Dr. Dengerink looks forward to empowering and encouraging her patients to optimize their health and well being!
