Alison Hazan, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, where she took a special interest in a more holistic and natural approach to medicine. Prior to her graduate education, Alison worked in the nonprofit world and taught laboratory biology at Hunter College. During her time at Pace University’s college health center, she single-handedly created a smoking cessation program targeting young adults.
Alison worked at a busy urgent care center in New York City for 5 years until moving to San Diego in 2020. She has a special interest in preventative care, nutrition/weight management and women’s health. She is passionate about forming trusting relationships with her patients and prioritizes patient-centered care.
Alison enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.
