“FNP, Friend, Advocate”

Dionysia is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to nursing school, she obtained her BA in Psychology from Barnard College of Columbia University. She then attended the NYU accelerated program for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her experience as a registered nurse (RN) is primarily in the emergency department but she did work briefly in the NICU as well. After about 3 years of working as an RN, she decided to go back for her advanced practice degree. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing, where she is still currently a student finishing the doctoral portion of the program. She has a passion for educating patients in a way they can understand, helping patients advocate for themselves and encouraging patients to partake in preventative and wellness practices to benefit their overall health.

She is a New York native and just recently moved to San Diego. In her free time she loves to read, cook or participate in any outdoor activities with her fiancé and her dog, Harley.
