Elisabeth (Elisa) Evans, MSN, FNP-BC is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in Cell Biology Research, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice and Gastroenterology. She is retired from University of California, San Diego Health System, specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and is currently a Sr. Medical Science Liaison with Exact Sciences/Screening Business Unit.

Elisa believes there is no greater gift you can give or receive than to honor your calling- and you can’t fulfill your calling in your comfort zone. Elisa helped develop GHAPP (Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Provider Association) and is now Trustee Emeritus. She believes that providing education and awareness to Advanced Practice Providers will further enhance patient care. Elisa has been an investigator in numerous clinical trials, published articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as a national speaker in GI.

Elisa is a Southern California native living in San Diego. She loves the ocean, swimming and surfing. She has 2 children and trying to survive the “tween” years!
