“FNP, Friend, Advocate”

Emily Ramirez is originally from London, England. She relocated with her family to California at age 12. She originally began her college career studying acting at Boston University’s College of Fine Arts. After some soul-searching, she discovered her passion and calling for Nursing. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, Magna Cum Laude, from West Coast University Los Angeles and began working as a Medical-Surgical RN. From there, she followed her heart into Maternal-Child Health and worked in Postpartum for 6 years. She then obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing from California State University San Marcos. Emily is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and enjoys her time still working as a bedside RN, as well as in her new role as a FNP.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two beautiful boys, fur baby, and extended family and friends. Emily loves traveling, exploring, reading and learning new things.
