Julia holds dual board certifications as a Family and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in Encinitas and moved to Texas for her undergraduate degree. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University. After graduation, she remained in Texas and worked as a registered nurse at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, specializing in cardiac and transplant critical care. Her commitment to the healthcare profession led her back to Encinitas, where she earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of San Diego.

Drawing from her critical care background, Julia is passionate about preventative care and the promotion of wellness. Her philosophy revolves around patient centered care that is collaborative, accessible, and tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

Julia enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends. Her interests include cooking, gardening, yoga, and exploring new destinations through travel.
