Kara Leinhos, LCSW

“LCSW, Friend, Advocate”

Kara Leinhos is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and transitions. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Biola University and earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Cal State Fullerton.

Kara has gained invaluable experience working with diverse populations. She has provided support to Veterans and their families at Loma Linda VA and has also worked as a therapist with adult clients at AbleTo. Her background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the human experience and the importance of mental well-being.

Kara’s therapeutic approach is characterized by empathy, respect, and collaboration. She utilizes a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to tailor her sessions to the unique needs and preferences of each client.

Kara’s practice is open to adults of all ages, but she particularly enjoys working with young adults and parents of small children. In every session, Kara creates a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. Her goal is to help clients find their own path to healing, growth, and positive change. Together, you will explore your challenges, previous therapy experiences, and your hopes and expectations for the therapeutic journey. Kara’s collaborative approach to goal setting ensures that your treatment is aligned with your unique needs and aspirations.

Kara Leinhos is here to support you on your journey to a happier and more fulfilling life. Whether you’re facing depression, anxiety, life transitions, or grief and loss, Kara is ready to work with you, no matter where you are in California, through telehealth.
