Kimberly Ayres (she/her) is a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. With experience in community mental health, dual diagnosis treatment, and children’s outpatient care, Kimberly is driven by a strong passion for quality mental health treatment that integrates a systemic view of a person and their concerns. In other words, she likes to explore how your culture, gender, ethnicity, family, friends, and various environments impact your mental health.  She hopes to collaborate with you on cultivating a warm, trusting therapeutic space where you are seen as the expert of your life.  With training in CBT, DBT, and EMDR, Kimberly will also explore the potential benefits of including evidence based practices as tools for your growth. 

To enjoy life, Kimberly likes to spend time with her community, in nature, and keeping up with the more pleasant routines such as exercising and sitting for a good cup of coffee.
