“FNP, Friend, Advocate”

Laila Jones is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a passion for helping patients reach their wellness goals. After graduating summa cum laude from nursing school, she spent several years as an intensive care unit nurse. In the inpatient setting, she saw many exacerbations of chronic health conditions and felt a calling to the outpatient setting to focus on preventative care and chronic illness management. She proceeded to earn her Master of Science in Nursing and became a board-certified nurse practitioner. Laila spent the next several years in Connecticut, providing high-quality health care to underserved patients. Eventually, she and her family made the move back to California. Outside of work, Laila provides mentorship to incoming Yale University nurse practitioner students and enjoys activities with the US Army Family Readiness Group. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
