Merna Eissa, LMFT

Merna Eissa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Concordia University, Irvine. She continued her education at Pepperdine University, earning her Master of Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Merna has worked with children, families, and individuals of many ages. She draws her care techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance, and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy in a variety of settings ranging from outpatient care and short-term care. She worked in various settings including Intensive outpatient programs, school settings, and outpatient clinical settings.

Merna enjoys working with clients to create an environment free from judgment that helps clients grow and gain the coping skills they need to become stronger in the face of life’s hardest challenges.
