“FNP, Friend, Advocate”

Monica is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2019.

Before moving to San Diego county, she gained her experience in Family Medicine while working for Lincoln Medical Partners in Maine. Prior to that, she completed clinical training at Waldoboro Family Medicine in Maine. She is experienced in rural medicine and health care. She is passionate about patient empowerment, patient education, preventative health, emotional health, nutrition, weight loss, and skin care.

Monica works full time at the Perlman Clinic and enjoys spending her time off with her husband and two sons. Her husband is studying to be a Pastor at Westminster Seminary California; and they enjoy living amongst fellow families at Seminary. Monica enjoys running, cooking/baking, target trips, and finding good eateries and coffee shops!
