Sally Gomes, LCSW

Sally Gomes is a licensed clinical social worker offering behavioral health services to adults. She treats a full list of problems; however, her specialties include anxiety disorders, stress disorders, trauma, depression, substance use, and spirituality. She utilizes evidenced based practices such as dialectical behavioral, cognitive behavioral, and solution focused therapies. She also incorporates mindfulness which allows the client to become more self-aware, which is an important factor in creating positive change. Sally received her Master of Social Work from Campbellsville University. She has served populations in both urban and rural settings. 

Sally believes it is essential to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. She works collaboratively with each client. Her aim is to provide a space of genuineness and empathy where the client feels they can be their authentic self. Sally takes a holistic approach understanding that healing encompasses aspects of mind, body, and spirit. She is person centered and assists each individual with their unique journey to wholeness. Sally encourages self-empowerment and guides individuals in tapping into their own inner wisdom to create the change they seek. She feels each person has strengths to overcome challenges that will enable them to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life.
